LEMAK, PETER R. , age 91 of Amherst and formerly of Tonawanda. Husband of the late Janet (nee Grimm) Lemak who died in 1990, loving companion of 30 years to Noreen "Mitzi" Goeddertz, father of Linda (Paul) Kolniak, Karen (Richard) Lunz and Mary Ellen (William) Baburchak, grandfather of Jennifer (William) Costa, Anthony (Emily) Chirico and Shaun Lunz and great grandfather of Brianna, Shane and Oliver. Peter was a US Navy Veteran serving on the USS Strong during the Korean War. He was a member of Gastown Sportsmens Club, USS Strong Assn., Frontiersmen Post 7545 VFW, Sikora Post and Queen City Jazz Society. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday October 24, 2023 from 3-7 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William ST. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in the City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday Oct. 25th at 11 AM. Everyone welcome to attend. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery.
