Raymond J. Cochran November 27, 1956 – January 11, 2025

 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond J. Cochran, 68, of Tonawanda, New York, who passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025. Raymond was born on November 27, 1956, in North Tonawanda, New York, son of the late Raymond and Mary “Tooty” (Rafferty) Cochran. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, humor, and kindness. Raymond was a hard worker who always provided for his family, putting their needs above all else. Raymond lived a life filled with love and purpose. He was known for his passion for fishing, bike riding, and his deep love for his dogs, who were his loyal companions. His joy for life and the outdoors was infectious, and he shared these moments with those closest to him. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife, Diana (Ramsey) Cochran; his son, Michael Cochran; his daughter, Breann (Matt) Heim; his grandchildren, Joselyn and Zachary Heim; his siblings, Lori Marzo, Michael Cochran, Marianne Cochran, Kelly Cochran, and Darci (Dean) Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his longtime friend and brother-in-law, Jeff Marzo. A Visitation  in Raymond’s honor will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William Street, Tonawanda, New York. where a Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 6 PM. We invite all who knew him to join us in remembering a truly remarkable man. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Raymond’s legacy of love, humor, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
