WEBER - Richard W.
Age 91, of the City of Tonawanda, died peacefully at his residence February 25, 2019. Husband of 70 years to Alice E. (nee Muncil) Weber;
father of Kathleen (David) Gallusser, Louise (late Donald) Stanzione, Richard (Beverly) Weber, John Weber, Arlene (Robert) Ertel and Wade (Cynthia) Weber; 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren; brother of the late Jean D. Gilmore and John “Robert” Weber. Also many nieces and nephews. Richard was a US Navy Veteran, serving in the Pacific during World War II. He was an active Life Member of Tonawandas’ Post 264 American Legion and a recipient of the Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award in 2007. Richard, along with his brother John, owned and operated Weber’s Automotive in Tonawanda for 58 years. Richard was also an active life member of First Presbyterian Church in Tonawanda. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, March 2nd from 2-4 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.), Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be conducted at 4 PM following the visitation. Everyone welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.
