BRENON, ROBERT H. JR. "BOB"
April 18, 1949 - September 10, 2025
Of North Tonawanda, peacefully at age 76. Husband of 38 yrs. to the late Donna L. (nee DiFrancesco) Brenon who died in 2010, father of Robert (Ann Branch) Brenon, III, Ryan (Alessandra) Brenon and Nicole (Drew) Young, grandfather of Camila Rose Brenon and Ana Sofia Brenon, son of the late Robert H. Sr. and Alberta (nee Brock) Brenon, brother of Barbara (late Gerard) Dumais, Gerald (Kaye) Brenon, Duane (Kathy) Brenon, Nancy (Ron) Richau, Bonnie (Russell Gaiser) Brenon, Brenda (Kevin) Dupont and the late Gary (living spouse Kathy) Brenon, the late Jeffrey (late Lynn) Brenon and the late Beverly Brenon. Also many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. As the fiercely proud eldest of the 10 Brenon kids, he was always willing to help and was deeply connected to his family. Bob was a 1968 graduate of Tonawanda High School and received his Assoc. Degree from ECCC. He was also a very active US Army National Guard Veteran, having attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Bob had been employed as a Meat & Poultry Inspector for the US Department of Agriculture. Bob was a self-taught expert gardener and could be found tending and propagating the thousand-plus meticulously maintained plants he kept in the backyard of his home. He also had a passion for cars and developed a well-trained eye for rare and undervalued used cars, routinely joining his father at weekend car auctions in and around Buffalo. He also loved volleyball and playing cards. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday September 16, 2025 at 9:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 73 Adam St., City of Tonawanda. The Rev. Michael LaMarca will officiate. Entombment will take place in St. Francis Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the Brenon family respectfully requests donations in Robert's name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
