Robert L. Laubacker, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away after a lengthy illness on May 31st, 2024, in the V.A. Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Lockport NY and was the son of the late Donald and Margaret (nee Podgers) Laubacker and the beloved husband of Doreen (nee Boudreau) Laubacker, who was married on January 27th, 1979, in Tonawanda NY. After High School Robert enlisted in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Robert loved his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his four children; Jennifer (AJ) Avery, Robert, Bryan, and Katie Laubacker; six grandchildren; Callie, Alina, Logan, Bailey, Bentley, and Wesley. Also survived by his brother Ronald (Dawn) Laubacker, His Mother-in-law Genevieve Simpson, and Mark, Jean, Paul, and Glen Boudreau. Predeceased by his father-in-law who he loved and respected very much, Eugene Boudreau. Robert was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of his garden, and washing his truck and tinkering around in his garage. He enjoyed listening to music and especially waking his children up to it on the weekends. Robert was a guy's guy who loved this country and will truly be missed. Robert's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from  5-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in the City of Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday following the visitation. Everyone is welcome to attend.
