Age 74 of the City of Tonawanda, passed away August 3, 2023 at his residence under the care of Hospice after a long battle with cancer. Husband to Alice (Pendziwiatr) & best partner for 50 years. Best companion his dog “Ruby”. She has hairy legs but doesn’t talk much. Step-father of 2. Son of the late Richard & Rita (Myers) Malone. Brother of Michael Malone of North Carolina. Poppy of 6 and his niece Dawn who was like a daughter to him. Friend and family to many. He was a 1967 graduate of Tonawanda High School and was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam 58th Inf. Scout Dog 101st Airborne. He was also a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of Frontiersmen Post 7545 VFW and Moose Lodge No. 2163. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 3-5 PM at Frontiersmen Post 7545 VFW, 110 Elgin St. in the City of Tonawanda, where a Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on Thursday at 5 PM following the visitation. Everyone welcome to attend. A reception will take place at the VFW Post following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Erie County SPCA or to Hospice Buffalo.
