WEBER - Ruth E. (nee Muncil)
Age 94 of the City of Tonawanda, June 8, 2019. Wife of 74 years of the late John Robert Weber who died in February 2019; mother of Robert W. (Lynn) Weber of Pendleton, NY, Donna J. (Robert) Beach of Hamburg, NY and the late Scott J. Weber; grandmother of Jennifer, Stacy, Elizabeth, Kelly and Adrienne; also 14 great-grandchildren; daughter of the late Guy and Nellie Muncil; sister of Alice (late Richard) Weber and the late John, Madison, Wade, Stanley and Helen; also many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a 1943 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and was a longtime member and former Deacon of First Presbyterian Church in Tonawanda. Ruth volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years and also enjoyed golf, bowling and playing bridge. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday (June 12), from 12 noon until 2 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.), in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday following the calling hours. Everyone welcome. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to First Presbyterian Church, 149 Broad St., Tonawanda, NY 14150 or the Leukemia Society of WNY, 4043 Maple Rd., Suite 105, Amherst, NY 14226.
