Ryan, Shawn P.

August 6, 1964 - April 7, 2026 
Of Riverside, formerly of the City of Tonawanda. Beloved son of the late Glenn and Gilda (Palesh) Ryan, loving brother of Maureen (late Alan) Janik, Glenn Ryan Jr., Janet (Joseph) Ryan-Ogiba, Robin (Thomas) Goff, JoAnn (Mark) Ciofani and Cathleen (Peter) Dauphin. Cherished Uncle of 22, great-uncle of 34, many loving cousins, caring friend to Helen, Tony, Nancy, Patty, Dave, Jim and many others. Shawn was a 1982 graduate of THS, lettering in wrestling. He was an Army veteran and reservist, Past Commander of The American Legion Post 264 and SAL member. He enjoyed fishing, being a NASCAR enthusiast and Buffalo sports fan. There will be a "Last Call" held on Saturday April 25th at the American Legion Post 264, 43 Main St., Tonawanda, at 9:30AM - 10:30AM to honor Shawn. A Mass of Christian Burial, with Military Honors, will be celebrated Saturday, April 25th at 11:30AM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 73 Adam St., Tonawanda, NY. Memorials to: Hospice,Buffalo, Inc.
