Shirley A. (Kreusch) Amacher

AMACHER, SHIRLEY A. (nee Kreusch), age 90, - born August 5, 1932, formerly of the City of Tonawanda and Niagara Falls, died June 6, 2023. Beloved Committed Partner of Richard "Dick" Remmele, wife of the late James L. Amacher and daughter of the late Charles and Louise Kreusch. Dear mother of David Seymour, Michael Seymour and Linda Gilhousen, loving grandmother of Steven, Jacqueline (Brandon), Rebecca, April (Ryan), Shaun (Nina), Korrine, Alex and the late Christie, cherished great grandmother of 10 great grand-children. Shirley was also family to Dick's 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A 1950 graduate of Tonawanda High School, Shirley was very active in line dancing and had many friends in the music field. She loved her Lord Jesus and had a sweet spirit with a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor, full of life. A classy dignified lady overall. You always felt extra special when you received a letter or card from Shirley for every holiday or special occasion, she never forgot you. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday June 13, 2023 from 3-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in the City of Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 11 AM in Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan St. in the City of Tonawanda. Everyone welcome to attend. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Shirley may be made to Courage of Carly Fund, Elm & Carlton Sts., Buffalo, NY 14263.
