Age 86, of the City of Tonawanda, May 30, 2022, at her home under the care of Hospice. Wife of 68 years to Morris C. Briggs, mother of Robert “Joe” (late Eva) Briggs and James (late Sheila) Briggs; seven grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren. Predeceased by three sisters and four brothers. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Shirley was a member of the Eastern Star and The Red Hats, she also loved to play Bingo. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, June 6th, from 4-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St., (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda, where a Prayer Service will be conducted Monday evening at 7 PM, following the visitation.
