WEGLER, THERESE MARIE "TERRY" 

October 7, 1947 - August 11, 2025

Age 77 of the City of Tonawanda, August 11, 2025. Daughter of the late Edward and Anna Wegler. Terry is survived by her loving family, Colleen (Charles) Castro, James (Kathryn) McDowell, Kiera and Orlando Castro, Cheyann, Sophia and Theo McDowell. A graduate of the University of Buffalo, Terry had been employed for 40 years as the Director of Community Relations for NYS Assemblyman Robin Schimminger and was a long time member of the City of Tonawanda Democratic City Committee. She was also a member of the Historical Society of the Tonawandas. There will be no prior visitation or funeral service as per Terry's wishes. A private burial will be in Kansas City, Kansas. Memorial contributions in memory of Terry may be made to the Historical Society of the Tonawandas.
