Age 75, of the City of Tonawanda. Son of the late William and Geraldine (nee Graf) Balk, loving husband of Wendy (nee Jewel) Balk, father of Alexis (Joseph) Martucci, Cydney (William) Szortyka and Stephanie Balk, grandfather of Eisley, Emiliano and Silas, brother of Donald J. Balk, Janice (Daniel) Keller and brother of the late William (late Deborah) Balk. Thomas served in the National Guard, was a Buffalo Police officer, a security guard at Tonawanda High School for 17 years, taught at the Police Academy and was a former President of the Tonawanda Board of Education. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 12-2 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service celebrating his life will be conducted on Saturday at 2 PM following the visitation. Everyone is welcome to attend.
