BILES, THOMAS E.

Age 84 of Greene Township, Jamestown and formerly of the City of Tonawanda. He was the husband of 63 years to the late Lanell (nee Evans) Biles who died in 2023. Father of Sheila (Ronald Smith) Biles and Thomas L. (Nicki) Biles, grandfather of Miranda Biles, son of the late E. Thomas and Dolores (nee Rosebrock) Biles and brother of Susan (Thomas) English. Tom was born in North Tonawanda. He was a 1957 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and served in the US Army from 1962 until 1965. He was employed as a professional Firefighter with the City of Tonawanda Fire Dept. for 27 years and later worked as an event director for the National Street Rod Assn. for 15 years. Tom was also a member of the Jamestown Firemen's Club and a 61 year member of the Niagara Hose Co. in Tonawanda. Tom also enjoyed restoring, customizing and collecting classic cars, meeting his friends for breakfast every morning and attending his granddaughter Miranda's softball games. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday September 19, 2024 from 4-7 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William st., (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday at 7 PM following the calling hours. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev. Michael Dobler will officiate.
