SALAY, VIRGINIA L. (nee Hartman)

December 8, 1935 - May 2, 2026 
Age 90, formerly of Buffalo, NY, May 2, 2026 under the care of Hospice. Wife of 68 years to the late John A. Salay who died in 2023, mother of Stephen John (Rose) Salay, Terri Lyn (Thomas) Serviss, Gregory Jay (Debra) Salay and Ann Marie (Daniel) Clark, grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, sister of Maureen Harris, Nanette (late Thomas) Filippi, Dennis (late Angie) Harris and the late Patricia, Audrey, James and Barbara. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Virginia completed a wish of a life-time from AARP and went Skydiving at the age of 89 yrs. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday May 7, 2026 from 4-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) City of Tonawanda, where a Prayer Service will be conducted at 7 PM Thursday following the visitation. Everyone welcome to attend. The Rev. Juan Martinez will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Virginia may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
