Age 90 of the City of Tonawanda, September 26, 2022. Long-time companion of 42 years to Maryann Hogenkamp; father of Ann (John Davis) Hetzel and Elizabeth
(Daniel) Carr; grandfather of Daniel Santelli, Jr., Victoria and Alison Carr; long-time friend of Joseph (Nicki) Hogenkamp and Kathleen (David) Compeau. Wayne was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He had been employed by the US Postal Service in Buffalo for many years. There will be no prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend A Mass of Christian Burial on Monday October 3, 2022 at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71 Adam St., Tonawanda, NY. Please assemble at the Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in memory of Wayne may be made to the SPCA of Erie County.
