Age 83, of the Tw. of Wheatfield and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, August 19, 2022. Husband of 55 years to Janet G. (nee Schweitzer) Bearfield; father of Nicole L. Walsh; grandfather of Alyssa J. Walsh; son of the late Issac and Sara Bearfield; brother of the late Robert (living spouse Sharon) Bearfield, Judith (living spouse Wesley) Link and Ronald (living spouse Patricia) Bearfield; Godfather of Kristen Zuhr and Ryan Cliffe. Also many nieces and nephews. Bill was a 1956 graduate of Tonawanda High School. He was a Life Member of Niagara Hose Co. #3, Tonawanda Exempt Vol. Firemen’s Assn., Tonawanda Firemen’s Benevolent Assn., Historical Society of the Tonawandas and Gastown Sportsmen’s Club. Bill was also a former Manager, Coach and President of Tonawanda National Little League. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday August 26th from 3-7 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, where a Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday evening at 7 PM following the visitation. Everyone welcome to attend. A private burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined.
