Waite, William L.

Age 85, of the City of Tonawanda, passed away February 16, 2021. Husband of Myrna (nee Merrill) Waite, father of Robert (Kathleen) Waite and the late William Lee Waite; grandfather of Shaylyn (Lucas) Kelleher and Ryan Waite; son of the late Clifford and Carrie Waite. William was a life member of Union Hook and Ladder Vol. Fire Co., Tonawanda Exempt Vol. Fireman’s Assoc., a former member of Odd Fellows Lodge 5 and Rebekahs Lodge and a member of the UnClub motorcycle club. William was also active at the City of Tonawanda Senior Citizens Center. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 19 at 11:00 AM at Salem United Church of Christ, 114 Morgan Street, Tonawanda, NY 14150. Everyone is welcome. Please be mindful that face coverings and social distancing will be required.
